to the fullest potential.

I/DD Services & Support

The Community Based Care (CBC) family of providers supports people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families to achieve their fullest potential. We match them with the most talented, well-trained, and compassionate team of caregivers, educators, case workers, and leaders anywhere.

Our vision is to be the highest quality provider of community-based I/DD services and supports in North Carolina, Florida and Virginia. We offer a differentiated network of providers, we are a responsible steward of resources, and we aim to be the employer of choice.

Everything we do is in service to one defining mission. And it's all about you.

CBC Community Innovations was founded in 1988 on the belief that people aren’t numbers and they shouldn’t be treated that way. Since then, we’ve served NC’s intellectually and/or developmentally disabled (I/DD) population, and have built a model focused on helping each individual achieve three important things: Growth, Incremental Independence, and Community Involvement.

Founded in 1993, CBC Homecare Management has centered our organization around the core belief that our team is what makes us excellent. We believe that by investing in great training, well-qualified supervisory staff, and competitive wages, we’re able to better serve our community with a combination of passion, experience, and skill.

CBC Hughes, formerly Hughes Behavioral & Mental Health Services, excels in our work to assist our intellectually and/or developmentally disabled (I/DD) clients and caregivers because we believe it starts with a strong foundation: our team. Our team members are well-trained and fairly compensated for their skills, making us a stronger organization.

Founded in 1998 as Lindley Habilitation Services, our mission was simple: to provide truly exceptional services to truly exceptional people. We honor our roots and our I/DD community by continuing work to advance that goal, more than 20 years later. Our I/DD services, activities & NC locations are designed to better support you.

CBC Pinnacle’s approach is to always provide the best quality service. Formerly Pinnacle HomeCare, we were founded in 1999 to support the needs of our intellectually and/or developmentally disabled (I/DD) community in North Carolina. We are here to help people of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds by providing the services you need with the attention to care and growth that you deserve.

A person-centered approach to intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) services is what you can expect with CBC Suncoast New Options Group Home Holdings. From our leadership to our employees, our combined experience and continuing education make us strong. This enables us to consistently do our best for our clients and their families by combining our evidence-based training with the goals of the people we serve.

Our Mission is to provide services that are designed to help individuals develop independent living skills, as well as skills in social awareness in a variety of community settings. We assist each individual in becoming self-reliant, and provide opportunities for the development of skills in decision making and provide support that will echance independence.

I/DD affects 7.3 million people in the U.S.
