We measure success in the number of smiles created & dreams fulfilled.
CBC Community Innovations
Since our founding in 1988, we’ve worked to do just that for NC’s intellectually and/or developmentally disabled (I/DD) population. By addressing the needs of each individual, we’ve built a model focused on helping each person served achieve three important things:
People aren’t numbers, and they shouldn’t be treated that way. CBC Community Innovations was founded on the belief that we should be counting something else: opportunities enabled, individuals’ goals reached, and lives fulfilled.
People aren’t numbers, and they shouldn’t be treated that way.
We provide an array of services and supports under the NC Innovations and B3 Medicaid waivers as well as private pay services. These benefit individuals served and caregivers alike. Many of our services are also geared toward helping individuals achieve more independence through programs thoughtfully designed just for that long term goal. Our programs are evidence-based so that we can do our best to help you achieve your best.

As such, we have access to and the respect of state leaders, including those in the General Assembly and the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) management.
